Road to Redemption

Meet Team USA is a special that will introduce viewers to the new members of Team USA, while also telling the story behind the revamped national team concept. These NBA-produced features will reveal the players’ journeys to this point, including exclusive all-access elements collected during successive summers with the national team.

Road to Redemption will provide viewers with an intimate look at players and coaches as they prepare for their upcoming challenge. Episodes will feature a fully-developed picture of the players as they gear up for their trip to China.

Solar MVP card may serve as a VIP pass to certain events and on the ground special activities.

Upon presenting the Solar MVP Card, members will be awarded certain discounts and special premiums from partner establishments indicated in the MVP Card Jacket that comes with the actual card.

The following nine teams have already booked their tickets for the Olympic Basketball Tournament for Men that will take place in Beijing, China, from 9th to 24th August 2008: Angola, Argentina, Australia, China, Iran, Lithuania, Russia, Spain and USA.

The 2008 FIBA Diamond Ball for men will take place at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center, Nanjing City, China. It is an invitational exhibition tournament played once every four years. This year will feature the participation of Angola, Argentina, Australia, China, Iran and Serbia and will be played from July 29 – August 1, 2008.

In preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the USA Basketball Men’s Senior National Team will compete in five exhibition games in Greater China and Las Vegas during the summer of 2008.
