Kick those monday blues away
Date Posted: 09 March 2012 2 CommentsAn NBA triple header will surely kick those Monday blues away. This March 12, BTV will feature three live games starting at 3:30 am.
First off, the LA Lakers and the Boston Celtics will renew their rivalry. Both teams have been struggling in the season and both are amidst multiple trade rumors. Kobe Bryant has been shooting an insane amount of shots in an effort to single-handedly carry the Lakers to victory. LA big men Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum are two of the best post players in the league but they have not found their rhythm as of yet. The point guard and small forward spots have been a problem for the Lakers as Derek Fisher seems to be a step too slow and Metta World Peace is not the basketball player LA fans want him to be.
Boston on the other hand has gotten big games from Rajon Rondo. However, their lack of a quality center and the stressful schedule has not been too kind on them.
The Indiana Pacers battle the Orlando Magic in the next game which will be aired live at 6 am. The Pacers have been surprising this year led by All Star Roy Hibbert. Danny Granger, Paul George, David West, and Darren Collison have teamed up to be one of the best starting units in the league without a so-called superstar. They will battle the Magic who are still one of the Association’s trending topics as the Dwight Howard saga comes to a close. The dominant big man has asked for a trade and after this game, the Magic will only have a few days to trade the All-Star or risk losing him for nothing after the season.
BTV will cap this day with a surefire exciting ballgame between the LA Clippers and the Golden State Warriors at 9:30. Between Chris Paul’s lob passes, Blake Griffin’s monster dunks, Monta Ellis’ slashing, and Stephen Curry’ outside sniping, there should be no lull in the action.
Waking up early on Mondays is usually a hard thing to do, but with BTV’s March 12 lineup, you’ll surely wake up before your alarm clock rings.
