This weekend, Solar Entertainment and the NBA are bringing one of the year’s biggest basketball events to SM Mall of Asia and SM Southmall. NBA Madness’ Team Spirit Festival will give sports fans and shoppers a flurry of basketball-themed activities and contests, while the interactive viewing party will give fans some first-hand commentary from Clyde Drexler himself.

October 1: SM Southmall

Clyde, the Portland Trailblazer Dancers, and the Orlando Magic Dancers will all be visiting SM Southmall for the first installment of the two-day culmination of the 2011 NBA Madness.

The activities will start at 11 am and end at 8:30 pm. The day will be packed with fun-filled activities for all NBA fans and cheerdance enthusiasts. The first part of the day will feature the NBA Madness Team Spirit Festival and it will run from 11 am to 7 pm.

The NBA Madness Team Spirit Festival includes a bunch of fun activity booths, an Asia Miles booth where fans can receive giveaways and register as an Asia Miles member, an NBA 2K12 booth, a performance from the Orlando Magic and Portland Trailblazer dancers, and other exciting activities.

The day will also witness the NBA Team Spirit School Champion Search and the Clyde Drexler Challenge.

From 6 to 8:30 pm, an interactive viewing part will be held at the SM Southmall Cinema 1 where Drexler will give fans a unique insider perspective as he provides live commentary while the screen shows some of the NBA’s greatest games.

October 2: SM Mall of Asia

At 11.00am, the festival will open fun activity booths including the Asia Miles Booth: where fans can receive giveaways and register as an Asia Miles member on-site to receive a special gift; NBA 2K12 Booth; Photobooth; Trivia booth; Center Court Games; 3-point Shootout; Shooting Stars; Skills Challenge; NBA Talent Performances; Clyde Drexler Appearances; Orlando Magic Dancers Performance; Portland Trailblazers Dancers Performance; Special Features; NBA Team Spirit School Champion Search; The Clyde Drexler Challenge Finals; and the Asia Miles Dance Clinics

At 4.00 pm, an interactive viewing party will take place where the man they call The Glide will provide commentary to one of his many noteworthy games. It’ll be a valuable view into the mentality and talent of one of the NBA’s 50 greatest players of all time.
