In preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the USA Basketball Men’s Senior National Team will compete in five exhibition games in Greater China and Las Vegas during the summer of 2008

The USA Basketball’s Senior National Team, featuring some of the most talented and recognizable athletes such as Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard, will match-up against some of the world’s best national basketball teams and stars. With the popularity of basketball soaring globally and the excitement building from the fast-approaching Olympics, fans and media will be fully engaged.

July 31 USA vs. Lithuania @ Macao
August 1 USA vs. Turkey @ Macao
August 3 USA vs. Russia @ Shanghai
August 2 USA vs. Russia/Australia @ Shanghai
In 2006, the USA Basketball Men’s Senior National Team visited China for the first time. The event featured two games, USA vs. China and USA vs. Brazil. More than 23 million viewers tuned in to CCTV 5 and close to 20,000 fans attended the two games at Guangzhou Gymnasiun.
